Kyiv: Attorney General of New Zealand David Parker said that the authorities of the country may prohibit the sale of semi-automatic weapons.

It is reported by The New Zealand Herald.

“The government intends to ban semi-automatic rifles in free circulation, as they have done in many countries around the world,” the report says.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, announced that security measures throughout the country will be significantly strengthened, and the current legislation on arms trafficking in the country will also be revised.
