Washington: US President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Theresa May, during which he expressed his condolences over the terrorist attack in the London Underground, the White House reported.
"President Trump had a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Theresa May, during which he extended his condolences to those who suffered as a result of the terrorist attack in London today. The president promised to continue close cooperation with the United Kingdom in order to end attacks around the world directed against innocent civilians, as well as to combat extremism," said in the statement.
On the morning of September 15, an explosion exploded in the London Underground at Parsons Green Station. The number of victims has increased to 29 people. It is reported that the unknown left a suspicious package, which subsequently exploded. The police qualified the London subway incident as a terrorist act.
None of the victims is in a serious or life threatening state.
