The Defense Forces hit Russian S-400 and S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems in Crimea. This is reported by the General Staff of the AFU.
According to the military, the attack took place last night. The attack hit one Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile division near Dzhankoy, as well as two S-300 divisions near Chornomorske and Yevpatoria.
“None of our launched missiles were intercepted by the enemy's ‘highly effective’ air defense,” the statement said.
The General Staff claims that in these areas, after the Ukrainian strikes, “an immediate shutdown of Russian S-300/S-400 radar systems” was recorded. The detonation of ammunition was also observed in all three areas of the starting positions of Russian divisions.
For their part, Russian publics claimed the attack of 12 ATACMS missiles on Crimea this night. They claim that the attack was repelled. The strikes reportedly targeted the outskirts of Chornomorske, Yevpatoria and Dzhankoy.
