Russians are trying to develop an offensive on Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad and Selydove. This was stated by the speaker of the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops Nazar Voloshyn during a telethon.

“The main efforts of the Russian troops are probably focused on trying to break through our defense and develop an offensive in the direction of Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad and Selydove. The situation near Netaylove is characterized by high enemy activity,” he said.

According to the spokesman, in particular, the Russian Federation is trying to reach the large settlements of Kurakhove and Pokrovsk to develop an offensive west of Avdiivka and Maryinka.

“And, of course, after Ocheretyne, they are rushing to the Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway. Perhaps they have a goal to capture Pokrovsk and the vital route to Kostyantynivka,” noted Voloshyn.

The Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest along the entire frontline. Almost 220 attacks took place there over the past week.

“Only 32 attacks took place over the last day, 4 attacks were repelled by the morning and 6 clashes are still ongoing,” said the spokesman.
