It is noted that Russian troops achieved small successes in the northern part of this direction, especially in the area of the villages of Sokil and Yevhenivka.
At the same time, Russian forces are approaching the outskirts of the village of Novoselivka-Persha, but have not yet achieved significant success in this direction.
Attacks on the village of Nevelske have been repelled, and it is likely to remain under the control of Ukrainian forces.
British intelligence has warned that the area is likely to remain under increased scrutiny over the next week as Russian forces struggle to maintain operational momentum in the face of heavy casualties.
