In the Portuguese city of Beja, two planes collided in the air during the Beja Air Show at the country's Air Force base, as a result of which one pilot died. This was reported by Reuters.

The incident happened on June 2 at the airbase 180 km south of Lisbon. During acrobatic demonstrations by Spanish and Portuguese pilots, two of them collided.
