Permission to strike: Biden approves use of American weapons against Russia

US President Joe Biden has confirmed for the first time that he has given Ukraine permission to use American weapons to strike Russia. This information was given by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken during a press conference.

He noted that Ukraine appealed to the United States with a request to grant permission use American weapons for defense during the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region.

Biden approved this decision, allowing the use of weapons to defend against attacks by Russian forces.

“This has reached the president (of the USA, Joe Biden - ed.), and as you have heard, he has approved the use of our weapons for this purpose. Going forward, we will continue to do what we have been doing, which is to adapt and adjust as necessary,” the secretary of state emphasized.
