Biden announces new $225 million military aid package for Ukraine

US President Joe Biden has announced a new $225 million military aid package for Ukraine. He made the announcement during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris, a CNN correspondent reports.

“Biden announced a new $225 million aid package for Ukraine, for which Zelensky thanked him,” journalist Natasha Bertrand wrote in X.

It is reported that during the meeting, Biden apologized for the months-long delay in approving weapons for Ukraine. In particular, he added that the United States is “still in business.”

There is currently no exact information on what exactly will be included in the aid package. However, earlier media reported that the package will include ammunition for HIMARS, Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, HAWK air defense missiles, howitzers, armored vehicles, patrol boats, as well as Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems and other weapons.
