The situation with fortifications in Kharkiv region: Synegubov spoke about IPSO and throws from Russians

Unused “Dragon's teeth” were found in Kharkiv region, on the border with Russia. Earlier, this information and the corresponding photos of abandoned defense elements were published by the analytical Ukrainian public Deep State.

“These photos show the outskirts of Liptsi and a gift from Ukrainian taxpayers to the enemy. According to the soldiers, these barriers have been lying idle since the summer of 2023,” the analysts said.

For its part, the Kharkiv regional authorities, represented by the head of the RMA, Oleh Synegubov, decided to comment on the situation.

“The photos distributed on social media show the remnants of materials that were removed by the contractor for further installation at the request of one of the teams. It is important to note that these remnants are 0.4% of the total work done on this type of fencing. That is, this is far from a strategic number of tetrahedrons, which, “according to some bloggers,” could theoretically affect the course of hostilities,” the statement said.

Synegubov said that, according to the plan, part of the fortification works began to be carried out already in 2024, but due to constant shelling in some areas, the work was suspended. According to him, as soon as it is physically possible, they will be completed.

“All these information injections started exactly on the day of the occupiers' attack on Vovchansk. Since last week, various reports have been circulating: about the absence of power in the region, about the capture of Vovchansk, about the alleged repair of roads to Vovchansk for almost 400 million UAH, about the absence of fortifications, etc. All of these materials are IPSO, they were released at approximately the same time, with the same headlines,” says Synegubov.

He also added that the spread of such “disinformation discredits the military, the authorities and the executors of all defense works”. It also spreads chaos and enmity among Ukrainians.

Later, the Deep State public service published new photos that allegedly show unprepared defensive lines near Liptsi, Kharkiv region, 10 km from the border.

“We are forced to additionally provide footage of one of the unprepared positions of the strongpoint 10 km from the State border of Ukraine (in 2023, the nearest enemy observation post was 15 km away), which the fighters shared with us. And here we are not talking about the lack of engineering and fortification structures, but rather about their poor preparation and incompetent approach, which was most likely presented to the military and political leadership as “success,” from which they could even draw conclusions about the “final stages of the construction of the engineering and fortification structures,” in particular, in Kharkiv region,” the public writes.

In addition, the analysts reacted to the thesis about the “hostile IPSO”: “If corruption and unprofessionalism continue to be attributed to the IPSO, then we all have big problems with the future. Still, it's worth focusing on inspections.”
