Russians conducted an air strike on the central district of Kherson in the afternoon. As a result, 11 people were injured, including a 15-year-old teenager. This was reported by the head of the RMA Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to the authorities, residential buildings and an educational institution were damaged.
“The youngest victim is only 15 years old. The boy was diagnosed with nose and shoulder injuries. Also, a 39-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury, a shrapnel wound to the abdomen and a fracture of the pelvic bones. A 32-year-old man sustained light injuries - blast trauma and a head contusion. Two women, aged 58 and 40, were also taken to the hospital. Both were diagnosed with explosive injuries. Another woman, 39 years old, was diagnosed with concussion, blast and traumatic brain injury,” the statement said.
In addition, an elderly woman, 78 years old, was injured. She is currently in the hospital with an explosive injury, injuries to her face and arm.
Later it became known that the number of victims had increased. Prokudin reported four more victims.
In particular, the 53-year-old father of the injured teenager was taken to the hospital with a shrapnel wound to his arm.
“Women aged 51 and 50 were also hospitalized with explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds to their legs. An 88-year-old resident of Kherson was diagnosed with an explosive injury and a head contusion,” said the head of the RMA.
