Ukraine has the opportunity to receive a tranche of €1.89 billion from the European Commission in June 2024 if the Ukraine Facility program in the European Union is finally approved. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
According to the press service, Ukraine has already received transitional funding of €1.5 billion on April 24. This allows the country to receive support before the final launch of the Ukraine Facility.
Under the program, Ukraine received a total of €6 billion in March and April of this year.
First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko said that once the plan for the Ukraine Facility is approved by the EU, the next payment in the amount of €1.89 billion is expected in June. Further funding will be provided on a quarterly basis for the fulfillment of plan indicators for the Ukraine Facility.
The next tranche is already expected in September in the amount of €4.11 billion, and in November - €4 billion.
