The European Commission provides Ukraine with another €1.5 billion to overcome challenges, - Ursula von der Leyen

The European Commission has allocated the second batch of bridge financing for Ukraine in the amount of €1.5 billion. This information was reported by the press service of the European Commission.

 

The funds were provided after a positive assessment of conditions related to reforms in various areas, including the judiciary, anti-corruption and financial management.

 

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that these funds will help Ukraine to continue to provide basic public services and support the population in conditions of war.

 

Earlier, we reported that this week Ukraine expects to receive a tranche of 1.5 billion euros from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program.
