Budanov announces new RVC raids on the border with Russia

Representatives of the RVC plan to conduct new raids on the border with Russia. This was stated by the head of Ukraine's Defence Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with The Washington Post.

According to Budanov, military intelligence has developed a plan aimed at weakening Russia's military potential. New cross-border attacks by "Russian volunteers operating inside Russia with the support of the Main Directorate of Intelligence" are planned.

"The plan covers many aspects, for example, the military industry, critical military targets, their airfields, their command and control centers," the GUR chief said.

Budanov said that the purpose of the plan is to demonstrate that Putin is unable to "protect the population from the penetration of war into the territory of Russia."

"When you sit, say, in St. Petersburg, and see the war only on TV, you will always support it. But people start to get nervous when a facility (is attacked) near their house," the GUR chief said.
