On the night of April 5, Russian troops shelled the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. Five people were injured. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Four family members were wounded as a result of the shelling of residential buildings: grandparents and their daughter with a 14-year-old son. In addition, another citizen was injured by the explosions.
Several private households were damaged in the area of the shelling.
The National Police reported that at around 3:15 a.m., Russia fired two missiles at the city, preliminarily S-300 missiles.
A utility company was reportedly at the epicenter of the strike. School buses, humanitarian transport and two administrative buildings were damaged.
