Draft law on mobilization: MPs may allow to put evaders on the wanted list

As part of their consideration of the draft law on mobilization, MPs are considering the possibility of allowing evaders to be put on the wanted list. In addition, they plan to increase fines and administrative liability for evading mobilization. This was stated by Vadym Ivchenko, MP from the Batkivshchyna faction, during a telethon.

"We are in favor of the initiative to increase fines and administrative liability. If you received the first summons, this fine will be increased. If you fail to appear for the second time at the MMC, there will be an even bigger fine. And for the third time, perhaps if you deliberately avoid and so on, by a court decision, I think a person can be put on the wanted list. This is all that the government is basically proposing... I am confident that the members of the Law Enforcement Committee (not the National Security Committee) will consider the relevant proposals," the MP said.

He noted that this can happen only after the draft law on mobilization passes the National Security Committee and the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada.

"Then the format will be clear, around which to build the relevant proposals to the Code of Administrative Offenses or the Criminal Code," Vadym Ivchenko summarized.
