Zelensky addressed the Helsinki Commission during the discussion of Russian war crimes

There is no such crime against humanity and life that Russia has not yet committed. The world has already seen dozens of cities and villages burned by Russians. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his address on Telegram.

"The world has seen Ukrainian cities and villages burned by the Russian army. Everyone in the world has at least heard about the massacres that inevitably follow the Russian tricolor across the occupied territory," Zelensky said in his address to the participants of the US Helsinki Commission hearing on "Holding Russia Accountable for War Crimes Against Ukraine: Lessons from Nuremberg".

Zelensky also recalled the suffering of Ukrainian families separated by war and the deportation of children, as well as the millions of Ukrainians living under Russian occupation and deprived of even basic rights.

He called on the international community to condemn Russia's actions and accelerate the coming of peace.
