A morning rocket attack damaged two gas pipelines in Mykolaiv and killed an employee of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC, Naftogaz Group reports.

"The emergency dispatch teams of Gazomerezh immediately began to eliminate the accident. Work at the facility will continue until the consequences are fully eliminated," the company said.

Naftogaz also noted that the shelling killed Leonid Hlove, an electrician repairing and maintaining electrical equipment at Gazomerezh, who was hit by a rocket near his house.

"Our colleague died in intensive care. We express our sincere condolences to Leonid's family and relatives," Naftogaz said.
