Humeniuk spoke about the situation on the left bank of Dnipro: the situation is very difficult

Russians are holding a group of 70,000 troops on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, according to Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces.

"They are constantly changing both in quantity and quality. Because, suffering from unsuccessful assaults, they lose up to 70% of their personnel in each assault group. As a result, the units are forced to constantly maneuver and move to different directions. At present, the total enemy grouping on the left bank (Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions) is estimated at more than 70 thousand personnel and hundreds of weapons and equipment," said Humeniuk.

However, according to her, not all of these 70 thousand are concentrated along the front line. Some of them are located in deeper rears. These Russians are being pulled up from there as an additional resource.

Humeniuk added that the situation on the left bank of the Dnipro is very difficult. One of the reasons for this is the assaults, which are very exhausting. According to her, while the day before the Russians stormed Ukrainian positions three times, the previous day there were 13 such attempts.

"But still, the tradition of not using armored vehicles (by the enemy) remains. They are trying to save it for the moments when we will do a better job. They realize that the period of time we have been holding these footholds and working to expand them is obviously aimed at their further strengthening and our advance. They are trying to prevent us from doing so, but we are doing our job," added Humeniuk.
