A gas pipeline accident caused by a Russian missile attack on January 23 was eliminated in Kharkiv. It was the largest hit on the gas distribution sector in the city this winter. This was reported by Naftogaz.
"In the morning, the Russian Federation hit a medium-pressure gas pipeline in Kharkiv. This winter, there have been no similarly large-scale attacks on the gas distribution sector in the city," the statement said.
It is noted that Gazomerezha's emergency dispatch teams immediately began to eliminate the accident. Work at the facility will continue until the consequences are completely eliminated, and the fire has been stopped.
According to Naftogaz, gas supplies to Kharkiv residents will resume as soon as all the consequences of the Russian attack are eliminated and repairs are completed.
