Germany has handed over a new military aid package to Ukraine. It includes shells, drones and vehicles. This was reported by the German government.
The new military package includes:
- LUNA NG reconnaissance drone;
- 10 VECTOR reconnaissance drones;
- 1750 rounds of 155 mm caliber;
- 70 MGW automatic grenade launchers;
- 6 patrol vehicles;
- 8 Zetros trucks;
- 100 thousand military first aid kits.
It is worth paying attention to the new weapons included in the aid list. The Luna NG unmanned aerial vehicle is the latest development presented by Rheinmetall at the Eurosatory defense exhibition in June 2022. The drone can hover over the battlefield for 12 hours and has a maximum data transmission range of 300 km using the StaCom system. The maximum takeoff weight of the drone is 100 kg, the flight speed is 80-150 km/h, and the flight range exceeds 150 km.
