Russian troops attacked one of the thermal power plants near the frontline. This is the sixth attack on the plant in the last month and a half, DTEK's press service reports.
There were no casualties, but the shelling left residents of one of the settlements near the plant without heating. The company's equipment was also damaged.
"After the shelling stopped, the power engineers began to eliminate its consequences and are making every effort to restore heat supply to residents as soon as possible," the company wrote.
Ukrenergo clarified that a thermal power plant in the eastern region was shelled three times at night. Despite numerous damages, the power plant did not stop working. However, due to damage to the infrastructure, one power unit was shut down and heating of one of the nearby settlements was cut off.
