Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi congratulated the military on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The video message was posted on his Facebook page.
The general thanked all soldiers, sergeants and officers for their fight against the Russians.
"Dear brothers and sisters in arms! Today, on the day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I thank everyone who does their hard work. I bow my head to your feat! Especially to those who today fought in the fire of battles and under fire, in cold frozen trenches and ruinsfirmly holds the defense and destroys the insidious enemy," Zaluzhnyi said.
He noted that the Ukrainian military are fighting for the future of their children.
"This is what we are fighting for, having no right to defeat. Ukraine does not give up - thanks to you. And thanks to you, I am convinced again and again that no matter how difficult it is, we will definitely not be ashamed," the chief said.
