On December 3, 68 combat clashes took place in all areas of the front. This is somewhat less than the previous day, when there were 88, but the Russians are actively attacking in eight directions. The situation remains the most difficult in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, where Ukrainian troops repelled 16 and 21 attacks respectively. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its Facebook page.
In addition, in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Forces (OSGF) in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled eight enemy attacks near Sinkivka, Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled three Russian attacks in the area of Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating the achieved positions.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria airmobile unit in the Mariinka direction, defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled eight attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, Ukrainian military repelled an enemy attack near Staromayorske in Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled three attacks by the enemy, who tried to regain their positions in the areas south of Robotyne. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also repelled three enemy attacks in the area of Novopokrovka, Zaporizhzhia region.
At the same time, in the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to actively inflict losses on Russian troops in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Joint Forces Operation Center in the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, conducting counter-battery combat, and inflicting fire damage on the enemy's rear.
