The United States has transferred equipment to Ukraine that could be the key to ensuring that Ukraine does not lose electricity this winter. This was reported by CNN.
Ukrainian grid operators faced a serious but underreported problem: radio interference used by the military to counter guided missiles disrupted the work of power grid management, which relied on GPS systems.
The American Cisco has developed special equipment that counteracts such radio interference and provided dozens of kits for installation across the country free of charge - the value of the assistance is estimated at $1 million.
Ukrenergo has already confirmed the successful operation of the new equipment.
