A new trip without consent: Zurabishvili travels abroad without waiting for government's approval

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili traveled to France despite the fact that the government did not approve the trip. This was reported by Echo of the Caucasus.

According to the information, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili is already in France, where he is participating in the Paris Peace Forum.

Zurabishvili's press service confirmed her departure to Paris.

On November 8, during a speech at the Orbeliani Palace, the President said: "Tomorrow I'm going to Paris, where the Peace Forum is being held - as it is currently planned, the prime minister will be present, so in this regard, we will somehow manage to set an example of depolarization."

The forum's website lists both Garibashvili and Zurabishvili as speakers.

At the same time, the government administration stated that it had not authorized the president to travel. It was Zurabishvili's first foreign visit since the impeachment attempt and the first joint appearance of the Georgian prime minister and president at the same event.
