Georgian President calls on protesters for peace: “Fighting through elections and the European way”

The President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili expressed her support for the protest, which is taking place in the center of Tbilisi. She called for peaceful actions and not to storm the parliament building.


In her video address, the head of state also noted that today's protests reflect the will and mood of the Georgian people, who are striving for democracy and the European path.





Zurabishvili called on the youth to continue their struggle through peaceful means and demonstrate the strength and determination of the Georgian people to the world.


Earlier, we reported that in Georgia, security forces have once again begun to disperse protests against the “Russian law” using rubber bullets which is taking place in the center of Tbilisi.
