Russia has more than 870 long-range missiles of various types - GUR

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Russian Federation currently has about 870 long-range missiles of the operational, strategic and tactical levels. This was stated in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine by Vadym Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

According to the representative of the GUR, Russia has approximately 165 Kalibr sea-based missiles, approximately 160 X-101, X-555 and X-55 air-based missiles with warheads, approximately 290 Iskander-M (ballistic) and Iskander-K (cruise) missiles, approximately 80 X-47 Kinzhal missiles, and 150 X-22/X-32 missiles. The effective strike distance of the X-22 missile is up to 350 km, he reminded.

Skibitsky clarified that last year, before the beginning of winter, the Russians had almost the same stockpile. This, he said, shows that Russia has managed to establish production and maintain it at a level sufficient to accumulate a stockpile of missiles.

He explained that the Russians cannot fully use their missiles either, as they must keep at least 30% as a strategic reserve.

"If they fire almost everything at our energy system again and don't achieve results, someone will be fired from office again," the GUR representative predicts.

Skibitsky believes that it will be difficult for the Russians to achieve the desired result with shelling, as Ukraine is also preparing and taking measures to protect its energy system.
