The Danish government has signed an agreement to buy a military plant located in Northern Jutland. This was reported by The Local with reference to the Minister of Defense of this country Troels Luns Poulsen.
According to him, the ammunition produced at the plant will be transferred to Ukraine.
"The overall critical situation has clearly shown me, as the Minister of Defense, the need to resume ammunition production in Denmark," Poulsen said.
The cost of the acquired defense enterprise, located in the city of Elling, was not disclosed. It is only reported that until 2020 the plant belonged to the Spanish company Expal.
