Slovenia has provided Ukraine with enough armored vehicles to form one armored brigade (about 90 armored vehicles). This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Slovenia Marijan Ice at the Warsaw Security Forum.
"Slovenia was one of the first countries to help Ukraine. We provided methods at the level of an armored brigade," the official said.
According to him, the Slovenian authorities are well aware that Russian President Vladimir Putin will go further if he is not stopped in Ukraine.
"And Putin gave us an alarming signal. And he is really the one who unites us and who tells us that we have to be active and that we need the NATO alliance more than ever," Shareta added.
He said that against this background, the door to NATO should remain open, especially for the Western Balkans.
