Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced that Ukraine's air defense will be strengthened ahead of the winter season to ensure the security of the country's energy infrastructure. He made the announcement at the "Future of Ukrainian Energy" forum.
Shmyhal emphasized that Ukraine is actively working to improve its air defense system, and by the beginning of winter it will be more efficient and reliable. He also noted that the number of missiles in Russia is decreasing, and its ability to produce missiles has fallen significantly.
The Prime Minister emphasized that energy facilities continue to be repaired, and the country is developing defense projects "that no one in the world has ever done before."
In addition, Denys Shmyhal noted that work on decentralization of Ukraine's energy system is also ongoing.
