Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said it was time for Western allies to put aside fears of "Russian provocation" and provide Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets.

 He wrote about it on Twitter.

 In particular, the minister listed the types of weapons that, as initially said in the West, would "provoke Russia to escalate" if they were delivered to Ukraine: artillery, anti-aircraft missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, tanks, long-range missiles.

 However, according to him, the promised escalation never happened.

 "F-16 fighters will not lead to it either. Providing Ukraine with F-16s will deter Russia, not "provoke" it. It's time to take this step," Kuleba wrote.
