New ships with Ukrainian grain are loaded and ready to sail. Kyiv hopes that Russia will fulfill its obligations under the UN-brokered agreement.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote about it in Twitter.
He noted that Ukraine remains committed to fighting global food insecurity.
"If Russia fulfills its obligations under the UN-brokered grain initiative, they (ships - ed.) will reach foreign buyers and help reduce food prices and prevent hunger," the minister wrote.
As a reminder, the export of grain will take place in accordance with the "grain agreement" between Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the United Nations. Control over the work of the sea corridor and the safety of the operation is entrusted to the coordination center in Istanbul.
Earlier it was reported that the first vessel with Ukrainian food left Odesa port and arrived in Istanbul.
Next ships with Ukrainian grain are loaded and ready to depart. If Russia holds to its commitments under the UN-brokered grain initiative, they will reach foreign customers and help tame food prices and avert hunger. Ukraine remains committed to combating global food insecurity.
