President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi invited Chinese leader Xi Jinping to visit Ukraine.
The head of state said this in an interview with the Associated Press.
He said he had not been in contact with the Chinese leader since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. Therefore, Zelenskyi would like Xi Jinping to visit Ukraine.
"We are ready to see him here. I want to talk to him. I was in contact with him before the full-scale war. But for this whole year, more than a year, we have had no contact," Zelenskyi said.
It will be recalled that on March 20, Chinese leader Xi Jinping paid an official visit to Moscow, where he met with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Against the background of the trip of the Chinese leader, information appeared that Xi Jinping may talk to Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
However, the President's Office later explained that there were certain difficulties in organizing the conversation.
