President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy held telephone talks with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. The Ukrainian Head of State announced the results on Twitter.

 "There was also an urgent conversation with Emmanuel Macron. We discussed strengthening our air defenses, the need for a strong European and international response, and increased pressure on the Russian Federation. France is on the side of Ukraine," the President said.

 Earlier today, Zelenskiy called Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz.
