On the question of whether the Ukrainian artillery really destroyed all the bridges from Kherson across the Dnipro, Sobolevskiy answered truthfully.

"I can confirm. Indeed, today the Russians do not have any logistical route - a safe one that would satisfy their military needs specifically to secure the military unit stationed near Kherson," Sobolevskiy said.

This was the main reason why the Russian military command really abandoned Kherson, he said.

As reported earlier, on September 12, the Ukrainian troops hit the fourth and last city in the Kherson region, which the Russians had used for transferring equipment to the right bank.
