The war in Ukraine cannot end according to the "Syrian" and "Korean" scenarios. The only option is to believe that the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the entire defense sector can win.

This was stated by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov in an interview with UP.

Analyzing scenarios for ending the war, Reznikov said that hostilities in Ukraine cannot end according to the "Korean scenario" because Russia missed the chance to freeze the armed conflict back in 2014.

At the same time, Reznikov believes that a "Syrian" scenario is just as impossible in Ukraine.

"As for "Syria," the Russians are also running out of resources: both human and armed. And we, on the contrary, have partners attached. That is, as they say, the collective West, the civilized West, which today is more and more interested in our victory," he explained.

The head of the Defense Ministry noted that when the countries of the world face global economic problems, some politicians "will dream" of bringing Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table.

"Therefore, we must be in a winning position with you as much as possible through appropriate decisions, the actions of the Armed Forces, continued armament from partners and the belief that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the entire security and defense sector can win. I absolutely believe that this is a real plan," the Minister added.

Recall, according to experts, the war in Ukraine can continue in the winter months - it is absolutely likely.
