Shkarlet: only two schools out of 60 agreed to work with the occupiers in Kherson

In Kherson, which is not under the control of the Ukrainian authorities, only two schools out of 60 agreed to work with the occupants.

This was reported by Minister of Education and Science Sergei Shkarlet in an interview for Suspilnoe.

According to him, as of today, there is no information that any school in the occupied territories has formed the educational process according to Russian standards. Although there are signals of attempts by Russians to introduce their standards from September 1.

"But I know of only isolated cases. If you take Kherson, for example, only two out of 60 school principals agreed to work with the invaders. Most schools will still continue the educational process according to Ukrainian standards," noted Shkarlet.

He stressed that the Ministry keeps in touch with teachers and directors of regional education departments. The minister added that despite the fact that Russian textbooks have not been imported en masse yet, there will be attempts to introduce the Russian educational process.
