The EU will allocate another 600 million euros in macrofinancing to Ukraine

The EU has decided to allocate 600 million euros to help Ukraine with its urgent financial needs. This has become known from representatives of the bloc, who wished to remain unnamed, Bloomberg reported.

The money is part of a 1.2 billion-euro EU emergency aid package adopted by the bloc earlier this year.

The European Commission is expected to complete the process on Wednesday, and funds could be transferred in the coming days, according to one official.
