Prime Minister Denis Shmygal states that in terms of state budget spending a day of war costs 2 billion UAH, in terms of losses - $4 billion.

"There are two figures. How much a day of war costs in terms of state budget expenditures, how much we pay, and how much we need. This is in the region of 2 billion hryvnias, what it costs us to conduct combat operations, pay salaries and so on. And there are other costs - $4 billion in losses, what each day of war costs us in terms of destruction of our infrastructure, loss of economic potential, loss of future GDP," Shmygal said in an interview on national telemarathon Friday morning.

The prime minister said Ukraine's losses include a 20 percent reduction in the planting season and the inability to fully realize its export potential.
