"Additional financial and technical support for Ukraine, neighboring countries and EU countries will help cope with the damage associated with the war and the influx of refugees," the statement said. "This initial support package will help the Ukrainian authorities meet the most urgent financial needs, including the purchase of food, medical supplies and fuel for citizens.Immediate support will be available within days. The EIB will allocate the funds available under two EIB loans, which were originally provided to support SMEs and the agricultural sector in Ukraine," the bank said.
