The Ukrainian delegation for participation in the Trilateral Contact Group intends to discuss with the OSCE chairmanship and Normandy Four (N4) countries the further format of the negotiation process after the recognition of the so-called "DPR" and "LPR" by Russia, which indicates a deliberate withdrawal of Russia from the Minsk agreements.

"The Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral Contact Group strongly condemns the decision of the Russian authorities to recognize the so-called "DPR/LPR", which may indicate a deliberate withdrawal of Russia from the Minsk agreements," said a statement posted on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG on Tuesday.

"In the current situation, we will hold consultations with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the OSCE Coordinator and the Normandy Quartet countries regarding the further format of the negotiation process," the delegation said.

The statement also noted that during the past week, the Russian delegation to the TCG repeatedly avoided participation in consultations in the TCG format, "implementing its plan by escalating the security situation on the line of separation."
