According to intelligence, Russians have tried to kill Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky more than a dozen times. He said this in an interview with the Cinque Minuti program of the Italian TV channel Rai, the full version of which was published by the President's office.
"They say more than 10. But this is what officials, special services, and intelligence say. So, to be honest, I don't count this number. It seems to me that all our people in Ukraine, the military who are at the front, risk their lives every day. Civilians, because of such strikes as in peaceful Odesa, also risk their lives every day," Zelensky said in response to a question about how many times Russian President Vladimir Putin had tried to kill him.
According to him, he takes the same risks as every Ukrainian. The President stated he should be under the same conditions as other Ukrainian citizens.
