The version that Russians tried to hit President Volodymyr Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during the shelling of Odesa yesterday, March 6, cannot be ruled out. This was stated by Ihor Zhovkva, an adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, Reuters reports.
"It (the missile strike) was really less than 500 meters from us. What was it? It cannot be ruled out that it was aimed at the delegation of our president or the delegation of a foreign guest," Zhovkva said.
He clarified that the missile was launched from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
"It took less than three minutes for the missile to reach its target - the site of the Odesa port. If we had enough air defense, this ballistic missile could have been intercepted," he added.
