The Defense Procurement Agency has signed its first direct contract with a Swedish manufacturer. This will improve the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This took place during the visit of Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonson to Ukraine.
"Cooperation with foreign partners is a priority of the Ministry of Defense, which will allow us to improve the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and strengthen combat capability," said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klymenkov.
The contract was made possible thanks to the support of the Swedish Defense Material Administration, FMV, under the cooperation agreement between FMV and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which was signed during the NATO Summit in Vilnius in July 2023.
