“In the coming weeks, when the QR code is implemented, the information will become a military registration document with the same legal force as a military ID card or registration certificate,” the Ministry of Defense said.

The app was launched on May 18, the day the new law on mobilization came into force. Currently, only contact information can be changed, but users expected the ability to update the full range of personal information.

“We were faced with the task of quickly developing an electronic cabinet of a conscript in the form of a mobile application. After updating the information, a conscript can view his or her data in the Oberih register. Currently, this information is for informational purposes only,” the Ministry of Defense explained.
