Ukraine will receive more than one million artillery ammunition from the European Union by the end of this year. This was stated by EU Diplomacy Chief Josep Borrell during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
"The EU defense industry continues to grow: we can already note that its capacity has increased by 40%. I can also give you a very specific figure for ammunition: by the end of this year, we expect to have 1 million 155 thousand," he said.
At the same time, Borrell added that Ukraine should continue the reform process on its way to the EU despite the war.
