In Ukraine, the operation speed of the Starlink and Starshield satellite systems has been restored to the level before the restrictions were introduced. This is crucial for ensuring frontline logistics and protecting against jet attack drones, – the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated.
According to him, the restoration process began at night, and by morning the connection speed became sufficient for using satellite communication.
"The most important thing today: the operation of Starlink and Starshield has been restored to the speed that was before all these restrictions. Now the speed is just as we need it," Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized that the operation of these systems is of great importance for the Ukrainian military. In particular, stable satellite communication is necessary for frontline logistics and protecting Ukraine from jet "shaheds."
Zelenskyy thanked the Americans and Ukraine's partners who took the situation seriously and helped resolve it.
The Ukrainian President also noted the role of US congressmen, senators, the media, the Department of State, and the US President.
