Russian troops shelled a substation in Dnipropetrovsk region. There is currently no shortage of electricity in Ukraine's power system. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the needs of consumers are covered by own generation and commercial imports.
"After a short-term emergency repair, the TPP building was placed in reserve, with a total of five thermal power plant units in reserve, which will be used if necessary. The system is balanced," the statement said.
The Ministry emphasized that it is important to reduce the load on the power system during peak consumption hours (from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00).
"The situation is under control. No outage schedules are applied," the Ministry of Energy informs.
As we reported earlier, one of the substations in the center of Ukraine was damaged after a night attack by the Shaheds.
