One of the substations in the center of Ukraine was damaged after a night attack by the Shaheds. This was reported by Ukrenergo. It supplied power to industrial consumers.
"Unfortunately, there is damage to equipment at one of Ukrenergo's substations in the central region. At present, industrial consumers are being supplied with power via backup schemes," the statement said.
The equipment at the substation was damaged, and emergency repair work is underway. The damaged equipment is apparently not subject to quick repairs - according to Ukrenergo, it is "planned to be replaced as soon as possible."
Ukrenergo also assured that the attack did not cause critical consequences for the balanced operation of the energy system.
