Yermak believes that the US support for Ukraine remains unchanged

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, says that the US support for Ukraine remains unchanged despite the pre-election situation. He said this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

"At the moment, we have full support from both parties in Congress. I note that I met twice in Washington with the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Then we held these meetings together with President Zelensky. We came back with positive feelings. We don't feel that the United States' support for Ukraine has changed in any way, but of course, they (the USA) have already entered the period of presidential elections, they have their own internal phenomena, but their attitude towards us has not changed, and I think that the level of support from them is still very high," Yermak emphasized.

When asked about the impact of Donald Trump's views on the Republican position, Yermak emphasized the importance of distinguishing between pre-election rhetoric and real actions.

"But we know exactly what the American position is, and any government, any political leader is always guided by the opinion of its people. The level of support of the American people is very high," the head of the OP said.
